Was reading a blog and came across this, heard of it ages ago, but I really wanna watch this, but I'm scared, and I know I will bawl like a crazy neighbour who just lost her cat, and my eyes will swell triple its size. SAD!!
This heartwarming true story is an American adaptation of a Japanese tale about a loyal dog named Hachiko. This very special friend would accompany his master to the train station every day and return each afternoon to greet him after work. Sadly his master departs one day, passes away and never returns to the station. Hachiko faithfully returns to the same spot at the station the very next day, and every day for the next nine years to wait for his beloved master. During his daily visits, Hachiko touches the lives of many who work near and commute through the town square. He teaches the local people love, compassion and above all unyielding loyalty. Today, a bronze statue of Hachiko sits in his waiting spot outside the Shibuya station in Japan as a permanent reminder of his devotion and love.
Sian, just by reading its synopsis also made me tear a little bit. If only men were like dogs! It also has Richard Gere leh!!
On a different note, my week has been busy but fun. Met up with loads of old classmates, and it reminded me a little of clouds, which move non-stop, just like our lives. No matter how hard we try and wish time would stop or slow down, it never works. Reminiscing the past was super awesome, eventhough, people always say don't dwell with the past, but theres nothing wrong thinking of the good memories we shared together. It was really nice chatting without any restrictions while we visited the past, because I know, when uni starts, it'll not pause until summer comes again.
BOOOO!!! Going back soon!
